As I’ve stated previously, I’m a huge fan of two-part tracks. So when I saw that Ghostface Killah had one on his new album with Adrian Younge, Twelve Reasons to Die, my interest was absurdly piqued. And, sure enough, “The Sure Shot (Parts One & Two)” delivers thanks to the narrative-driven rhymes of GFK and live band aesthetic. April 16, aka the album’s release date, can’t get here quickly enough.
