Ta-ku is two for two this week when it comes to new remixes. Yesterday, we heard his take on Ginger & The Ghost’s “One Type of Dark” and today, it’s an overhauling of “Seconds” by Los Angeles’ Ghost Loft. The dreamy soundscape of the original remains in place, as do most of the pitch-shifting vocals. Where Ta-ku works his magic is in the B-A-S-S, hair-trigger hi-hats, and infectious hand claps. Yeah, I could definitely see a club or festival crowd going crazy to this one.
