Dallas’ Gensu Dean dropped his debut for Mello Music Group earlier this year with Lo-Fi Fingahz. It was an impressive display of his chops on the SP-1200, his go-to piece of equipment for producing his own brand of boom-bap. But it was also filled with features from a slew of MCs, something that, at times, can take away from the raw instrumentals lying underneath.
But not here. The folks at MMG have received a fully instrumental version of Lo-Fi Fingahz and they’re giving it away for the impossibly low price of, erm, free. With that kind of price tag, you’d be doing yourself a disservice by not at least grabbing a few of these tunes to sample. No pun intended.
