Tyler and Eloise are killing it with their new label Absent Fever. Already on their fifth release, they present to us 18-year-old Galapagos, aka Jacob McNaughton. I’d given two songs on the Big Cat EP a listen a few days ago, and both are very heavy on loops and vocal sampling. I posted “Foool” for stream, a perfect example of what you can expect on the rest of this project. While Galapagos plays a bit with the BPM from track to track, these songs are heavily rooted in hip-hop.
