Whoa. Speaking of reunions — OK, these guys never disbanded, but still — Freestyle Fellowship has announced their first full-length album since 2001’s Temptations. That’s right, y’all, the Los Angeles alt-rap collective of Aceyalone, Myka 9, P.E.A.C.E., Self Jupiter, DJ Kiilu Grand and J Sumbi is back. They’re new album, The Promise, is apparently set to drop this fall and features production from the likes of Exile, Black Milk, and Eligh. Damn, now that’s a production lineup. Anyway, we don’t know much else about the record aside from the fact it’s dropping on Decon and it features this pretty ill first leak, “We Are”. Color us excited. [via]
Hit the skip to stream “We Are” and peep the art for The Promise.
