While we wait for Freddie Gibbs and Madlib to drop that highly anticipated collaborative album, the Gary MC slides through to liberate a brand new track he cooked up with another notable producer. Well in this case it’s two, as Cookin’ Soul is the production duo of choice. And Gibbs does an awesome job of floating over his soulful low-key cut. There is no word on if this track will land anywhere yet, but it is nice to hear Gibbs fall back off his heavy-hitting grind with a easy-leaning track like “Thug Till It’s Over”.
