Franklin might not ring a bell and admittedly, he probably shouldn’t, unless you’re a big-time California lo-fi specialist. But, his track “I Know” got remixed by Com Truise and it was awesome. It was more awesome than the original, probably because Com Truise can Galactic Melt your face off. Well, Franklin must have heard our rumblings and decided to release a woozy, spacious vocal track for any long, waterless journey though the desert. There are rattlesnakes readying to bite, accordions singing their song of sorrow and countless moments where his experimental lo-fi chameleons to its environment. He’s haunting as any trek through the Sahara would be. Com Truise if you’re there buddy, remix please. [via]
