It seems like we’re getting more information about Frank Ocean‘s sophomore album every damn day. Previously, we reported that he’s 10, 11 songs deep into his next project while today, a collaborator has spilled the musical beans about one of the songs. Oh, and did I mention that the collaborator is Martin Gore, of Depeche Mode? Yeah.
Apparently he and his band were in the same studio as Ocean, who sent someone over to the U.K. electronic music legends so they could all meet. And once they did, Gore and producer Christoffer Berg hit it off with the Odd Future. This led to a quickly formed collaboration featuring “some electronics and some modular synthesizer stuff.” Oh. Man. [via]
