Four Tet‘s newest full length album Pink is a collection of mostly songs compiled as 12″ singles on the Text label over the past year or so. If you’ve been following his output lately most of the songs on Pink will sound familiar, except for these two unheard gems that found a home on the final release. “Lion” is a slow moving dancefloor burner, meticulously paced in typical Four Tet fashion, while “Peace For Earth” is a sprawling, near 12 minute epic, showcasing some of his most diverse production work to date. Pink is out now, and most definitely worth a listen or 10.
