Forbes Reveals Its 2014 Hip-Hop Cash Kings Lists

dre-beatsSo you know how Dr. Dre (and his business partners) sold Beats to Apple earlier this year? Well, in case you forgot that news, the sale made a lot of money for Dre and his pals. So much, in fact, that the Compton native blew his competition out of the water on this year’s Forbes list of the Hip-Hop Cash Kings. Seriously, Dre apparently made $560 million more than the second and third-place guys on this list, the still-stinkin’-rich Jay Z and Diddy. After that, you’ve got pretty much everyone you’d expect, including Drake, Nicki Minaj, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and DJ Khaled. Of course, it’s always nice to see indie cats like Tech N9ne and Mac Miller on there, as they raked in $8 million and $7 million, respectively.

Peep the list below and head to Forbes to read the full story.
