Focus – Music of the Misinterpreted [Album]

Atlanta producer Focus previously laced us with a number of dope producer homages to Pete Rock, J Dilla, Daz Dillinger, DJ Premier and Ali Shaheed. He recently linked up with Phonte to give us “UH” which was the first single to his free album Music of the Misinterpreted. The new album features Rapper Big Pooh, Tez McClain, Sha Stimuli and many others entirely over Focus production. His production style is very boom-bap influenced in terms his drums but its also soulful.
