Potholes newcomer Mallory Pickard had plenty of great things to say about the latest project from My Dry Wet Mess. For one, she wrote in her review that “The sound never deteriorates, and each track offers up its own curves in the tunnel, lights flashing, endlessly on to the next with a mellow serenity that is far from your typical hedonistic house music.” Sounds interesting, right? As someone who has heard the record, I must say I concur with her assessment. Here, though, we have My Dry Wet Mess’ remix of Flying Lotus’ “PieFace”. The already insane track hits new levels of crazy-funk in this remix, which will likely find itself on your “wylin’ out” playlist…you know, if you have one.
