If there’s one thing the Flatbush Zombies have made clear, it’s that they love weed. A lot. I mean, did you see their infamous “Thug Waffle” video? Anyway, they’re showing some more love to that sticky icky on “Palm Trees”, which finds them dodging any shade coming their way by, well, palming trees. Get it? I know some of y’all aren’t too keen on weed raps, but Flatbush Zombies’ Meechy Darko, Zombie Juice and Erick Arc Elliott bring a new vision to the rap sub-genre. They’re blunted, sure, but they’re also introspective. I’m especially diggin’ Erick’s verse and his response to folks hatin’ on him for being a so-called third wheel.
