Fishing is only ever a solo activity to those looking for a cover to drop a body into a river. So, appropriately the band Fishing is a duo and their latest release is Hookz 3. And listening to the project gave me an idea for a Chillwave themed cruise with onboard activities like “make your own collage” and “zaniest name contest.” One song on the EP features what sounds like an African sample being turned into a chant over some marimbas? and another track could be the background music for a character in a fighting? game who calls Asia home. It doesn’t last long but it should serve as a good introduction to these makers of wooz-music. [via]
