After the release of The Goon Time Mixtape and the lead single “Pushin’ Aside, Pushin’ Along“, Posdnuos and Dave of the legendary De La Soul are getting closer to releasing that First Serve full-length. The duo drop off the album art, which you can peep after the skip, as well as a skit from the release called “We Made It”. They also dropped a quick skit by the name of “Mrs. Whitter” not long ago.
This brings me back to those classic De La interludes from 3 Feet High and Rising and the like, as these hip-hop legends give us a reason to love skits again. April 2 is the date set for the First Serve album release, let’s just hope they stick to it.
