Featureless Ghost – New Moods [Album]

I grew up hooked on sports. So when I think of Atlanta I think of red, black and maybe orange or yellow (if I want to revisit memories of the hideous Atlanta Hawks uniforms in the ’90s). And when an album makes me think of cold neon colors and black, it’s a bit difficult to process that what I’m listening to comes from the Peach State, which is what happened as I listened to Featureless Ghost’s New Moods. The album sounds like eyeliner, hairspray and ’80s cinema set in the future which is something my hunger for nostalgia welcomes. And in addition to New Moods, the band offers up four other projects with similar vibes on their Bandcamp page.
