When I heard Fashawn’s debut with Exile, Boy Meets World, for the first time, I did what I think a lot of us did. I enjoyed it, but I was too involved with comparing it to Exile’s other collaborative album, Below The Heavens with Blu. But repeated listens and seeing Fashawn in concert made me realize just how talented this dude is and why we should be paying close attention to his career. As such, I would only be doing you all a huge disservice by not posting his latest project, Higher Learning 2, a free mixtape featuring Common, J. Cole, John Legend, and others. While I would rather we get Fash’s sophomore effort, The Ecology, instead of these mixtapes, I can’t complain about free music, especially when it’s this good.
