Facebook Poll Results #2: Favorite Wu-Tang Clan Member

For our second Facebook poll, we felt like celebrating the release of the Wu-Tang Clan’s latest compilation, Legendary Weapons, by asking y’all the most difficult question on the planet: Who’s your favorite member of the Wu. And, well, the results were close. I mean, ridiculously close and, in my opinion, pretty surprising. Well, except for the fact that no one voted for U-God and Masta Killa. Poor guys.

Hit the skip to see who landed at #1.

And the winner is…

Method Man

Y’all got some crazy love for the M-e-t-h-o-d Man. Dude beat out Ghostface Killah — my personal pick — by just one vote. RZA came in third place and after that, you guys were pretty much all over the place. Well, except for your aforementioned feelings on U-God and Masta Killa. Personally, I expected Raekwon to get more love but the Chef only got three votes. Damn!

You can celebrate with Meth and watch the “Bring the Pain” visuals below.

  1. Ol Dirty Bastard would be my favorite. Baby Jesus was original and a dope lyricist.
Method Man would be a close second. The only rapper to out rap biggie on the same track with him. plus he was biggie’s favorite rapper.
    Ghostface not far off.
GZA hands down the best lyricist in the group and would slay any emcee who has come out in the last 12 or 13 years.

    1. Ol Dirty Bastard & Method Man
    2. Ghostface Killah
    3. GZA, Raekwon & RZA
    4. Inspectah Deck
    5. U-God, Masta Killa, Cappadonna

I dont know how you compare these guys though. I agree this is one of the most difficult questions you could ask. lol

    peace.

  2. great point, John

In terms of solo releases, I’d go with Ghost or Rae. But if you’ve ever seen Wu-Tang live, then you know that Method Man is the heart and soul of Wu. He brings all the energy to their live shows.

  4. my favorite is Ghostface too, he has had the best solo albums. Surpeme Clientele and Ironman are both in my top ten fav albums of all time. but meth is in my top 3, after RZA, and ghostface
