F.olk – “Pontificatin’”

There’s a first time for everything, and I can strongly say this is my first time ever hearing of the man who is F.olk. The LA ambient beatsmith fits all of the criteria for an underground artist, but his Soundcloud statistics don’t NEARLY speak for themselves. His instrumentals are very astrological and smart, with perfect synth placement and everything, but “Pontificatin’” is a little different. This track features beautifully tuned vocals laid onto a fun, bouncy beat and would sound perfect queued up next to some SBTRKT.
