F.D.R. is a burgeoning three-piece led by Houston’s own Hollywood Floss. Joining him are D-Risha and Rob Jay–get it? F.D.R. = Floss + D + Rob–who share the slick, horns-laden Sweet Valley High production on “Toe 2 Toe”. Each MC shines here, especially in the realm of wordplay. You’ll hear sharp references to Rajon Rondo, parkour(!), Bruce Banner, and much more. Beyond that, it’s a killer lil’ joint and one hell of a preview of the trio’s upcoming release, The Inauguration, which is due out later this year.
