If you are a frequent reader at Potholes, then you know I have an ever growing desire to uncover fresh artists that push the limits of hip-hop. Right off the bat I know this won’t sit well with everyone, and I am sure you are rolling your eyes at the name Humpasaur Jones in any case. But I urge you all to give this an honest listen. “Breakup Music” is filled with some fantastic wordplay, and production from Dr. Quandary that has you craving for more. This song is a classic. The beat is genius in it’s simplicity and the lyrics fit perfectly, mood-wise.
