Evil Needle – “One for Kennedy”

Robot Soup alum Evil Needle comes through today with some newness by way of a deft sample flip. On “One for Kennedy”, the French producer manipulates a portion of Dom Kennedy‘s “Local’s Only”—namely the Chrono Trigger sample—and turns it into a mellow head-nodder. I’m not into Dom’s music like I used to be, but you can’t deny dude’s ear for beats. And Evil Needle drives that point home here. Listen below.
