Evidence’s 2011 release, Cats & Dogs, is the kind of album that stays in your rotation whether you like it or not. How could it not with tracks like “Falling Down” and “The Liner Notes”, the latter of which features the always-soulful vocals of Aloe Blacc. That cut also now has its own video that blends live and backstage footage of Ev getting ready for his latest performance. It’s simple, but sometimes that’s how it should be. Who needs to be flashy when the music sounds like this?
