Ethel Cee & Dumhi – Seven Thirty EP

First of all, I am super late on this. And I actually feel pretty bad about it. Not only is it an awesome project, but Haj and the Dumhi movement are among the first artists we ever built relationships with here at Potholes. Anyway, Ethel Cee hooked up with Haj for a quick EP filled with some of the grittiest Philly hip-hop you are going to hear all summer. The drums are simply disgusting, you can count on that. Plus, Cee isn’t your typical female MC, as she spits just as vicious as any dude does on the mic. Give it a stream or purchase and let us know what you think.

Quality project by 2 solid artists. Dumhi provides the perfect backdrop of sounds to compliment Ethel Cee’s straight forward, honest delivery. Ethel Cee’s lyical ability matches up perfectly with Dumhi’s sound that has become very well respected over the past few years. Both artists have built a reputation in the Philly hip hop scene that continues to grow with every project they’re involved in. In my opinion, this EP would be the perfect addition toanyone’s music library.

Really dope. The beats hit and the personal lyrics hit harder.
