El-P & Killer Mike Reveal ‘RTJ2’ Album Details, Announce Tour Dates With RATKING & Despot

run-the-jewels-2We have got quite a bit of news for all the Run The Jewels fans out there. The duo of Killer Mike and El-P has revealed the details for their forthcoming sophomore album, RTJ2, such as the album art (above!) and track listing. The latter also comes with the features, which are more focused on vocalists than rappers. Sure, Zack de la Rocha (of Rage Against the Machine fame) is on here and hopefully spitting, but the other guests are Boots, Diane Coffee (of Foxygen), and drummer Travis Barker. Is the lack of guest rappers a bad thing, though? Hell no.

Update: El-P confirmed that Zack is rapping on RTJ2. Fantastic.

In addition to those details, Mike and El announced a whole gang of tour dates for the States, Canada, and other parts of the world. In North America, you’ll get the chance to see them rock stages after openers RATKING and Despot—yeah, that’s one hell of a bill and one I strongly advise that you see for yourself. Elsewhere (namely some Australia and New Zealand gigs), Joey Bada$$ is joining Run The Jewels on the road.

You can view the track listing and tour dates below. RTJ2 drops Oct. 28 while a remix version of the album is due out in 2015 (on Fool’s Gold). [via Pitchfork]
