Earl Sweatshirt Update: Reports on His Return

While there have been a ton of rumors floating around over the past year or so about the return of Earl Sweatshirt, this one seems to hold a bit of legitimacy. According to at-risk youth outreach group Alternative Intervention Models, they made contact with Earl in Samoa. And during their time with the young Odd Future spitter, they apparently helped him mature and grow as an artist. Again, those are their words. But what’s even more exciting than all that is that they reported that he is on his way home to Los Angeles. Once home, he will complete high school and continue to pursue his lyrical passions. There is also a report that Leila Steinberg, famous for mentor Tupac Shakur, will be guiding Earl and his creative process. It will be interesting to see where dude goes from here and if we’re due to hear a new Earl project in 2012. Please?!
