Earl Sweatshirt Talks ‘EarlWolf’ Album With Tyler, The Creator

Fans of Odd Future have known for years that Earl Sweatshirt and Tyler, The Creator have been planning a joint album under the name EarlWolf. We’ve even heard them use that moniker here and there, like on their version of Gucci Mane’s “Lemonade” known as “Orange Juice”. But it’s also been a minute since either Earl or Tyler has addressed their collaborative album, though they did tour together earlier this year.

In a recent interview with the NME, we got a bit of information regarding EarlWolf from Earl, who also spoke on his new album Doris. Here’s what Earl had to say:

“We’ll do the record when we’re ready to sit down for a month and a half and do it in one. It’d be shitty if it was spread out. That’s how I want to do shit from now on; that’s what I learned from doing ‘Doris‘. Trying to piece shit together that’s hella spread out kinda sucks. You hit a lot more walls trying to make it sync.”

Let’s cross our fingers for that month and a half coming sooner rather than later.
