Dwele – “Lady” (Sango & LAKIM Edit)

Two PIMB favorites Sango and LAKIM teamed up recently to take on one of the best Dwele tracks to date, “Lady“. You might recognize portions of the song from the “Dime Piece” remix that appeared on J Dilla‘s The Shining, aka one of the best posthumous albums ever. And here, “Lady” finds yet another new life as a cut that wouldn’t sound out of place on a playlist full of U.K. bass bangers. It bounces without ever getting too aggressive, a nod perhaps to the perfectly languid tones of the original. Download/stream the remix below.
