Google “Coldwave Brooklyn” and the second result is a page for this band, Dream Affair. A three-piece who after profiling Arc Light a couple weeks back leads me to believe that there may be a bubbling scene in the NYC borough. A scene that will spawn several magazine features, and copious amounts of tumblr blathering about the “resurrection of coldwave.” All joking and cynicism aside, Dream Affair makes some fun music. Fun in that it would sound really good as the soundtrack to a movie that combined the Tron remake and Donnie Darko. They have another song on their Soundcloud page for you to check out and their recently released album, also titled “Endless Days” is available on iTunes.
