If anybody understood Drake, they would know that he is not “whinning” or “crying”. He is expressing his feelings! Just like any other artist! He just does it in a different way which makes it unique. I personally think that Take Care showed his real fans, because we understand where he is coming from, and we know the REAL him, and how he feels, which makes me seem closer to him. I replay this album almost EVERYDAY.

Those two first paragraphs are the past few years in a nutshell! I never really attributed this emotional sing/rap fad to 808′s and Heartbreak, but I think you’re right.

I thought Sideline Story was at least marginally better than Take Care, as well as Hot Sauce Committee 2. I hold Take Care, Watch the Throne and Ambition on the same level at probably 2.5 or 3/5.
