Drake’s First-Week Sales For ‘Nothing Was The Same’ Are In

drake-nwts-sliderWhile the final Soundscan numbers aren’t in just yet, we can always rely on the folks at Hits Daily Double to come extremely close with their information, however it is that they get it. Anyway, we reported last week that Drake was set to move anywhere from 675,000 to 725,000 copies of Nothing Was The Same in its first week. Well, it’s looking like he’s not getting in between those figures, according to HDD. They’re saying that it’s more like 658,179, though it wouldn’t surprise us if the Soundscan totals are a bit higher. Still, it’s a great first week for Drizzy, who easily hit the number-one spot over Kings of Leon. They hit number two with 115,088.

Nothing Was The Same‘s total earns Drake the second-best first-week sales, too. Holding the throne there is Justin Timberlake’s comeback album, The 20/20 Experience. That record moved 968,000 when it debuted.
