The homie Alex at Move Forward Music just sent over this new track from YC The Cynic. This 19-year-old MC, who hails from the Bronx, kills it on “Say Superman” as he spits with a style similar to a mix of other underground NYC rappers. I’m talking cats like Fresh Daily and Homeboy Sandman. In other words, YC is in good company with his flow. I’m definitely eager to hear more from him, too, as it’s refreshing to hear a younger MC who’s not grasping at the mainstream or trying to sound like anyone else.
