Read this with a Jerry Seinfeld tone, please: What’s the deal with all these rappers tackling indie rock songs? After we showed you a glimpse of Intuition’s upcoming mixtape earlier this week, we now bring Lushlife’s take on Washed Out’s “Feel It All Around”. Like Intuition, Lushlife’s version retains all the elements of the original track. So, in a sense, it’s like a mash-up of Lush’s gruff new verses and Washed Out shimmery instrumental and hook. If you can’t tell from my write-up, I’m definitely feeling this and wish I could make it down to SXSW to see him perform. Ah well, at least I have this and his two albums to keep me company.

Man, this is terrible. I love this Washed Out song and then some rapper comes along and poo poo all over it.

To that..
Lil wayne already rapped over this song…
I agree with Seinfeld, it’s so annoying / completely unoriginal.
Lou Tully rocked this a few months ago on his mixtape Encounters much more tastefully
just sayin…
