Mac Miller came through and surprised a lot of us this year with the release of Watching Movies With The Sound Off, but did y’all know he quietly launched a label called REMember Music? Yup and REMember Music’s Vinny Radio is sounding pretty good with his new project, the Broke EP.
While I’ve been at home recovering from a dental surgery that had me looking like Kanye after his infamous crash (and trying to rap “Through The Wire“), I had ample time to sit around and digest any new music that came my way. Thanks to a recommendation from the homie, I found myself listening to Pittsburgh’s Vinny Radio. I was delightfully surprised by his laid-back, punch-packing rhymes over smooth instrumentals from Swisher P. Fischer. Yeah, Vinny is sure to be a mainstay in my iPod for the next while.
