After a string of successful singles, we’re finally hearing Stolen Youth. It’s the full-length from Long Beach, Calif. rapper Vince Staples and producer Larry Fisherman aka Mac Miller, a clearly in-the-pocket duo who decided to give this thing away for free. Well, they kind of had to considering the samples that pop up on here, but don’t let the free price tag let you think this isn’t worth your time. It is cohesive, well sequenced, and finds Staples trading rhymes with the likes of ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, and, yes, Mac Miller. I’d go on, but I think you should head to The FADER and read their interview with the rising MC while listening to the album.
