This one came as a bit of a surprise this morning via Twitter, but I have absolutely no complaints! People should start using that site more for dropping fresh music and less for stale personal tidbits. Anyway, here is a killer 5-track EP from one of my favorite duos, The Knux. You can say what you want about these guys, but they make high-energy hip-hop, something that seems to lack in a lot of the releases these days. With that said, give this fine EP a download, and let us know what you think. My apologies on the Usershare once again, Mediafire is not being nice for me.

This new song is a huge step up from their album to me. The album felt a little TOO much like a pair of friends discovering music equipment, making quick loops, and kicking raps came to mind over them. But this shit sounds a lot more polished. Excited to hear the rest of the EP.
Nothing new here…
Nice fucking find! I saw them at Coachella last year and they were incredibly fun. I think these few tracks have a lot more edge. I can really hear more influences and references in these tracks than I did in “Remind Me in 3 Days.”
