Gentlemen – thanks for the feedback. The mix is perfect if you listen to the WAV, the bass gets reduced in 192kbps mp3 format, so the vocals appear to stick out more.

Well put to the both of you. I agree the hook was 4-5db off. It seems to me the track lacked good compression and mixing on the vocals. As for Kam Moye…. you can run this dudes vocals through a a tin can and he will still come hard and destroy the track… even mixed poorly.

To me it sounded like the Chorus was like 4-5db too loud, there’s dynamics…and then there’s scaring the shit outta stoned people with big headphones. Always dope to hear a Kam Moye verse, wasn’t really feeling the star, and that third verse definitely, definitely should have been cut. That was painful and killed any replay value.

I agree, something going on with Soul’s vocals make them sound mixed poorly. I definitely dig his verse though, sonically it was just off. Supa came HARD though as always…

I really like this, but I feel like his vocals weren’t compressed and expanded or something. Its like they don’t fit in the mix. I know thats pretty picky, but other than that its pretty hot.
