Download Shigeto’s ‘Lost Tracks’ Featuring MC Kadence and L05

As he tells it on his Soundcloud, Shigeto‘s laptop was stolen just about a year ago during a show in New York. He lost an album’s worth of music but was able to somehow recover a pair of tracks from those sessions. They are “What U Really Needed” and “R Life”, both of which features guest vocalists MC Kadence and L05. Shigeto loves these cuts (and so do I), but he felt they didn’t fit in with what he’s recorded for his next project. That’s perfectly fine, of course, because we obviously still get to enjoy them in any case. Also, if you’re not feeling some kind of way while listening to “What U Really Needed”, you need to play it again. And again.

Both tracks feature my dear friends Brandon Mitchell aka MC Kadence and Carlos Garcia aka L05. Their vocals really make the tracks for me however, I felt they didn’t sit right for my next album and stood alone. I wanted you to have them and they’ve been on my laptop for way too long. Download them (for free) do whatever you do to relax, sit back, turn up and enjoy. Much <3 and respect. Shi.
