The folks behind the Chicago-based Push Beats collective have put together their second compilation and it features 22 brand-new tracks from across the genre-sphere. There’s some boisterous joints, a Legend of Zelda flip, funky R&B-ish grooves, and even an appearance from Windy City native Jeremiah Jae. Other notable acts include Ackryte, Ohbliv, Illingsworth, and B.Lewis, the last of whom appears on standout cut “Hold” with Hongry Bogart. Don’t let those names be the only thing that intrigues you here, though, because everyone else who contributed did the damn thing, too. We’re just not hip to their work yet.
