Chicago’s ProbCause is celebrating both his own talent and the skills of his city’s hip-hop scene on new project The Recipe Vol. 2. You’ll hear voices both familiar and new on here, including Martin $ky, Chance The Rapper, Psalm One, and Legit. $ky actually appears on one of my favorite cuts so far, tag-team banger “High Altitude”, while Chance shows up for a pair of winning cuts, “LSD” and “Three Course Meal“. Given the latter’s title, it’s only right that Action Bronson gets his lyrical grub on, too. As an added bonus, ProbCause packaged the download with his own hand-drawn single artwork and some original pieces, too. Dig it.
