If I did drugs (see: hallucinogens), this is the music I would do said drugs to. But I think everyone who follows me on Twitter knows my vice. Hell, even without tripping and glow-sticks being thrown around, I can get down to Pretty Lights’ music. The one-man dance party makes sample-based jams that typically include some kind of hip-hop influence. And on his latest track, “Sunday School”, you can hear just that. It’s the first single off his upcoming free album Passing Behind Your Eyes, which drops Oct. 6 here.

Fantastic live. Ginourmous 50 foot LED board that features some of the most “pretty lights” I have seen at a gig. Very few can transcend the electronic genre, much less redefine it as they go. Derek Vincent Smith is a god in his own rite; production. Btw, it is a two-man group. Chad plays live drums with every track, adding to the explosive, crunchy sound. Believe me, if you can manage to see these guys live, they will leave a bubbling pile of thick awesomeness where your brain used to be. Quite the experience.
thanks for introducing me to an awesome artist…tightas shit
!!!!!
holy fuck that track is big and ugly and good. this would be awesome live.
This shit just blew my mind.
