I have been bumping Phantogram’s latest LP, Eyelid Movies, and I thought I would put you guys onto it as well. It sways very close to a more indie atmosphere, but the beats definitely seem to derive directly from hip-hop. “As Far As I Can See” is a great example of their fine-tuned skills on the sampler and drum machine.
