Pardon my lateness, but here is the first official single off Marco Polo & Torae’s collaboration album, Double Barrel, in stores June 2nd. Marco Polo has become one of my favorite producers over the past few years, with his boom-bap vibe, bringing it back to the golden age. It is also good to see Torae make his much deserved entrance into the limelight. He has been grinding for a long time and I feel like this could be his first real splash. I like this joint!
Chea. This joint was hot. I feel like there is a lot of energy in it, which makes me wonder if they were in the studio together for this. A lot of times the producer and artist dont hit the studio together, but I know these two live close enough to link up like that and I think this joint came out super nice. It def will be on my playlist.
