I heard Macklemore’s music for the first time about a year or two ago. I had never heard of the guy prior to that and I haven’t really heard of anything from him since as far as music goes. His solo LP, The Language of My World, is what caught my attention at first. It was packed with some of the most comical, yet serious lyricism I had ever heard in one album. It had me wanting more, a lot more. The wait was well worth it though, as we get our first peak today at his upcoming mixtape entitled, The Unplanned. A bit of a sentimental and uplifting track, quite the fantastic introduction to an emcee you should all get familiar with if you aren’t already.
