Always happy to hear some new DJ Premier so naturally it piqued my interest to see how Joell Ortiz would sound on his production. “Hood Love” was technically off Royce’s album. “Project Boy” originally premiered in February and clearly the radio rip did it no justice. I couldn’t really hear the drums like I do now on this quality version. I think it’s fantastic. The track is off Joell’s forthcoming Free Agent album. Give it a spin and let us know what you think.
