With a few singles already behind him, it wasn’t clear whether or not Chicago MC Ibn Inglor was building up for something greater. Today our speculations are answered as the rising talent drops off a brand-new release in New Wave. We’ve already heard a few of the cuts on the project—including the fantastic “BLACK PRINT” and “WAXXX”—but this is our first chance to see how Inglor can pull it all together for one cohesive effort.

I just heard of him last night. Since then I’ve already listened to his last 2 tapes. He’s definitely in a lane all his own, especially among his contemporaries in Chicago.
I just can’t get over the style of his rhyming it reminds me so much of aKnye, i know this guy may take offense to this but its no disrespect to his character or rhyming its just that its pretty unique and Kanye is the only other person i’ve heard that sounds like this.
There’s an interesting darkness here, there’s a bit of drill influence here…lots of aggression and a soundtrack that compliments it. I’ll be keeping an eye on him for sure.
