Rising Toronto-hailing producer Harrison is both efficient and versatile. Those are two stellar qualities any person can have, never mind someone who creates art. Since we first heard about him on the jazz-heavy Prom King back in March, Harrison has dabbled in a variety of sounds.
He’s delivered some future-funk jams, dusty dance numbers, and everything in between while also staying true to his jazz roots. All those different sounds come together cohesively on the newly released When It Rains, which features standout tracks “Grade A”, “Bay Windows”, and closer “Night”. I strongly recommend that you download this, burn it to a disc (or throw it on your mp3 player), and save it for when the feeling’s right. You’ll know what I mean once you give it a listen.
