Ocean State MC Dirty Hank spent the past six months working on this EP, a mix of tracks that’s sure to leave you feeling “anxious” and “deprived.” In other words, I think this one will have you hitting the rewind and repeat buttons as Hank spits his raunchy and clever bars atop beats from Falside and Mad Plaid. Hank’s also joined on here by Reason, of Poorly Drawn People, for two tracks. That all adds up to Dirty Hank’s Guide to Giving Up, a seven-track EP that presents “random acts of fuckery [that] bleed pain, anger, frustration, sexual angst, and disgust.” Sounds insane, but awesome to me.
