Kno needs to do some solo shit… Cunnin is holding him back
Haven’t been the biggest fan of them in the past, but I like where they’re going. Not really feelin’ E-40 in this. Definitely checkin’ this out when they come to Minneapolis, should be good with Unknown Prophets.
I agree with you
I totally disagree Beaver – Kno is mad good, but together with Natti and Deacon he is more than he would be by himself. The three of them together are ridiculously good, and the Cunninlynguists have made some of the best hip-hop ever. Their lyrics are incredibly soulful, and carry real meaning on top of being witty, intelligent, and often very amusing. I like all of the albums up to A Piece of Strange a little more than I liked their latest efforts, but to be honest these guys have almost no music that I dislike. E-40 is definitely the weakest on this track..
I agree with DJ Cal to an extent. I know it’s your opinion versus mine, but I think Dirty Acres is one of the best albums I’ve heard in the past five years. And the first Strange Journey volume was pretty dope, too.
sorry guys gotta agree with DJ Cal. except that i prefer their more recent stuff. its more soulful & arguably meaningful, although SOS was disgustingly good on Southernunderground
