Before we hear his next retail project, Big K.R.I.T. heads back to his mixtape game to drop a new free project. The title, King Remembered In Time, is a play off of his name because, as you might know, that’s what the K.R.I.T. stands for. I’ve personally lost interest in his career over the past year or so, but I can’t front like I’m not interested in hearing how this tape sounds. I’m rooting for Krizzle, so here’s hoping he delivers with King Remembered In Time. Download and/or stream it below.

I understand what you’re saying Andrew. One of homies basically explained it as his production is so good that you forget he’s really a pretty average rapper. So when you listen to a lot of his work in a fairly short amount of time it all blends together. I honestly got 3 mixtapes/albums from him, but the only verse of his I remember is from 1 Train.
Exactly the opposite here. I really liked Return Of 4Eva and KRIT Wuz Here but with both, I had to skip 2 or 3 tracks. 4Eva N A Day was a totally different story – the album had so much soul and smoothness in it and it’s the opposite of boring in my humble opinion. Live From The Underground was a great album too, which which for some reason got unfairly hated on.
King Remembered In Time sounds good after the first few listens btw, but nothing really interesting there….most songs kinda sound the same and even tho he is following the soulfull 4Eva N A Day formula, the whole thing kinda sounds bland…..
Btw all KRIT fans should check his older tapes – See Me On Top 3 and Hood Fame. They are both produced mainly by KRIT and there are only like 2-3 “stolen” beats. He is way dirty and uptempo there too.
Yeah, KRIT Wuz Here was definitley his best, it was easily his best collection of songs. Return Of 4Eva was excellent, maybe a bit more consistent than KRIT Wuz Here but didnt have the same amount of high quality tracks. 4Eva N A Day was dissapointing imo, the first 4-5 tracks were incredibly boring, and Live From The Underground wasnt much better. Was a huge fan based on his first two mixtapes, but yeah, he released too much shit too quickly and none of it was an improvement on his first release, so ive also lost interest. Still gonna check this tape out coz the guy definitly got talent
personally i think krit was here is his best project yet…but that’s probably b/c it’s the first thing i heard by him. return i thought was good but just not quite as fresh…all of his shit does tend to blend together in a bad way. i gave this a listen at the gym it’s good but he’s still hasnt really broken out of his mold. really like the song with bj chicago kid and how u luh that.
‘Return of 4eva’ was a very important record to me personally. I’m still a super-stan when it comes to this album. Something about it just seemed to speak to me – as esoteric as that sounds. ‘4eva n a Day’ did not however. Even though it was pretty much more of the same in terms of sound. Wasn’t impressed with the ‘I got this’-single either So instead of putting paying up for ‘Underground’ last summer, I bought the vinyl pressing of ‘Return’ that came out around the same time and consequently never heard ‘Underground’. I always wondered if I was alone in this. Apparently not.
He released too many projects that sounded very similar in a short period of time.
Oh wow. I’m 10 songs in and so far this is incredible.
Hey Andrew why have you lost interest in krit’s career? I think Live From The Underground was an incredible project. The album embraced more of the southern sound than any of his other projects did.
